Intakt Records was founded in 1986. This concert was taped in Zurich in February of that year, and the label has only now got round to putting it out, which makes the record both a new release and a birth certificate. Schweizer was one of the founders; the tape has been sitting in the house it helped build. She had just come home from six months in New York, and the programme reflects it — her own pieces alongside Monk, Ornette Coleman, Ellington, three American names handled by a European improviser who never sounded like she was borrowing them. George Lewis once reached for two words to describe her, Afrodiasporic and post-European, and on solo piano you can hear why neither one on its own would do: the harmonic vocabulary is unmistakably continental, the weight always lands somewhere else. Nine tracks. The recording was made with support from the Robert D. Bielecki Foundation. The programme opens with an ancient Greek love charm, set by Abbie Betinis, and closes with "We Kiss In A Shadow" from The King and I; in between it makes room for "Bésame Mucho," the sixth movement of Poulenc's Figure humaine, and a Janáček male chorus. That is the range these eight men, singing without a conductor, have decided they can hold in one hour. Three spoken interludes carry the argument: Marcus Aurelius to Fronto, Whitman to Peter Doyle in August 1869, Dickinson to Susan Gilbert in the summer of 1852, each framed by music from Libby Larsen, Steven Sametz and Mari Esabel Valverde respectively. The letters are read plainly and nothing is added to them. Three world premieres are folded in, including Saunder Choi's "Light Years to Lebanon," the longest thing here. Eighteen tracks, drawn from a concert programme the ensemble toured in spring 2025. The B minor impromptu here comes from Vogt's Musical Album of Autographs, a volume Farrenc shares with Berlioz, Gounod, Liszt and fifty-nine others. That was roughly her position in the century: present, collected, filed under someone else's title. Sixteen tracks, and the six fugues from Op.22 are first recordings, unpublished in her lifetime. With this volume Stratigou becomes the first pianist to have recorded the complete piano works. 第五卷，也是收尾的一卷。Stratigou 就此成為史上第一位錄完 Farrenc 全部鋼琴作品的鋼琴家，博士論文寫的也是 Farrenc 的練習曲。這卷裡最硬的部分是 Op.22 的六首賦格（No.6–11），世界首錄——Farrenc 生前從未出版這批曲子，而賦格這種最學院、最不討好的體裁，來自她十幾歲時的老師、巴黎音樂院對位法教授 Anton Reicha。另外收了降 A 大調的 Mélodie 與 B 小調即興曲：前者曾進入 1846 年一部向貝多芬致敬的作曲家合集，後者收在 Vogt 的《Musical Album of Autographs》裡，同一本冊子還簽著白遼士、古諾、李斯特等六十二個名字。她生前的位置，大致就是「被收在別人的紀念冊裡」這種位置。十六軌。

Four tracks, each named for a mineral in the serpentine group: "Serpentine," "Antigorite," "Lizardite," "Chrysotile," the last of which is the stuff sold for most of the twentieth century as white asbestos. It is a mineralogist's tracklist for a record that really does behave like one rock examined from four angles. The Ghosted trio — Ambarchi on guitar through a Leslie cabinet, Berthling on double bass, Werliin on drums — plus the Swedish multi-instrumentalist Christer Bothén on bass clarinet, his third appearance on Black Truffle. Taped in September 2023 in a rural studio at Hamburgsund that Werliin built with Hans Fredriksson. Ambarchi's long chords sit so close to a Hammond organ that you check the credits twice. 四軌，曲名全部取自蛇紋石族礦物：〈Serpentine〉〈Antigorite〉〈Lizardite〉〈Chrysotile〉，最後那個的中文名是溫石棉。把礦物學名當曲目表聽起來像個玩笑，實際效果卻很貼切：四首曲子確實像在同一塊石頭上換角度切。

The title comes from the 2021 paper that gave large language models their nickname: a machine that reassembles its corpus statistically without understanding a word of it. Cooper, who was born in England and has lived in Rome for years, has made a record out of sampling, collage and half-remembered tropics, and then named it after the thing critics might have accused him of. He also uses the sleeve note to close down a comparison he has been carrying for decades. Reviewers reach for Jon Hassell; someone once proposed a collaboration that never happened. The influence is partly real, he says, but the actual trigger was Mati Klarwein's cover paintings for Aka/Darbari/Java and Dream Theory in Malaya, images of places he loved that he had either dreamt or half-remembered. Twelve tracks, titled in capitals after places and things. Hiraeth is Welsh for a homesickness directed at a place you cannot return to, which is a large claim to hang on a record and also, in this case, an accurate operating manual. The band went home to Anglesey, shut the door of the rehearsal room, came off social media, stopped touring, and started a label — Snowdonia Records, which is releasing this on vinyl and CD. Four years since Druids and Bards, and the interval is audible in the way the songs are built to be lived in rather than played at people. Scott Marsden's mother fell seriously ill while it was being written, and the sessions were interrupted again and again; whatever else is going on here, the record was made in the gaps of something harder. Erik Wofford, who has worked with the Black Angels and Black Pumas, mixed and mastered it in Texas, and the low end has picked up an American accent along the way. John Lawrence of Gorky's Zygotic Mynci and Spike T Smith of Killing Joke turn up. Nine tracks, opening with "This Stone Is Heavy" and ending at "Where The Heart Is." A dub record made by hand, in a room, in Okinawa: the Taipei band's Meng-hsuan flew over in May with the master files and mixed the whole thing on HARIKUYAMAKU's desk, two people on the faders at once, which he calls DOUBLE DUB. Five tracks, the band's 2022 debut 踅踅 taken apart and rebuilt. "南來留 DUB" exists by accident — reaching to correct something, she turned the spring reverb the wrong way, and the two of them followed the mistake to the end of the track. Cassette, Risograph-printed, sold first at a Taipei show on the eighth. Four years since the last release, and the first live date since 2022. 五軌，把樂團第一張錄音室作品《踅踅》整張重製成 dub 版本。距上次發表隔了四年，也是樂團 2022 年之後首度復出現場。
