Nine tracks, the sixth full-length, and the first thing it does is spend six minutes and one second on a song called "Hello, my name is..." A band that has already played Budokan opens its record by introducing itself, slowly. The first two minutes are mostly low synth, rolling, with Ohara Ayato's vocal arriving late and half-asleep. From there the sequence tightens: "AOMA," "detox" and "Walk Around" run together like three cuts of the same dream, and "egomaniac" is the only place the guitars get loud enough to be rude about it. Then the last two tracks do something a bit cruel. "I DON'T WANNA DIE!" stops at three fifteen, mid-thought. "EUPHORIA" takes five minutes and four seconds to let the breath out. Ochi Shunsuke of CRCK/LCKS plays bass; Ishige Akira of the telephones is credited as guitar tech and sound advisor. A crowded personnel list for a record this measured. 九首，第六張全長。開場那首叫〈Hello, my name is...〉，六分零一秒，是全碟最長的一軌。一支已經站上武道館的樂團，把整張唱片的第一句話花在自我介紹上，而且介紹得很慢：前兩分鐘幾乎只有合成器的低頻在滾，人聲進來時還帶著沒睡醒的黏性。往後走，第八首〈I DON'T WANNA DIE!〉三分十五秒就掐斷，第九首〈EUPHORIA〉才把那口氣放出來，五分零四秒。中間〈AOMA〉〈detox〉〈Walk Around〉三首排得緊，聽起來像同一場夢的三個片段。這次錄音貝斯請了 CRCK/LCKS 的越智俊介，吉他技師兼聲音顧問是 the telephones 的石毛輝——名單很雜，成品卻比上一張 EP 收斂。

Four musicians who go by Small Intestine, Liver, Lung and Kidney. The album is called MENU and the tracklist runs the length of a set meal, with the course printed in brackets: "(welcome)" for the greeting, "after the Robbery(zensai)" for the appetiser, "maindish(me@)," then "oops(coffee)" to finish. A conceit that heavy usually curdles. It doesn't here, because the playing is clean neo-disco — clipped guitar, a bass that stays behind the beat, nothing oversold. Lung, the drummer, directed the video for the main course himself. First full-length, digital only, with their first headline tour in October. The joke lives on the packaging; the record underneath is straight-faced. 四個人的藝名分別是小腸、肝臟、肺、腎。專輯叫《MENU》，曲名照著一套餐序往下排，括號裡直接標菜式：〈(welcome)〉是迎賓，〈after the Robbery(zensai)〉是前菜，〈maindish(me@)〉是主菜，〈oops(coffee)〉收尾。這種設定很容易做成一場鬧劇，但他們沒有。實際聽下去是相當乾淨的 neo-disco，吉他切分乾脆，貝斯不搶拍，鼓手「肺」還自己導了主菜那首的 MV。首張全長，數位限定，十月才要跑第一次單獨巡演。玩笑開在包裝上，音樂本身老實得有點反差。

六軌，兩首協奏曲各三個樂章。第二號 G 小調的第一樂章十一分零三秒，比後面兩個樂章加起來還長——鋼琴獨自開場那段的巴赫味，聖桑寫的時候大概沒想過會被拿來當整首的重心。這首他只花了十七天寫完，自己首演。第五號「埃及」擺在後半，第二樂章十分五十一秒，是全碟最長的一段。Trpčeski 把相隔二十四年的兩首放在同一張，中間隔著他自己在格拉斯哥的樂團班底。

十八軌的錄音室首作。曲目跨度大得有點魯莽：巴托克《羅馬尼亞民間舞曲》六段（Székely 改編，全部加起來五分四十九秒）、蓋希文《波吉與貝絲》三首海飛茲改編、布拉姆斯第一號小提琴奏鳴曲、伊薩伊兩首無伴奏的選段、巴赫 BWV1004 的薩拉邦德。第十二軌是恩斯特 Op.26 的《大隨想曲》，把舒伯特《魔王》整首搬到一把小提琴上，五分十三秒，是首作裡最不必要也最能看出膽子的一步。有意思的是收尾：最後三軌全是無伴奏，而且都慢——標題裡那個 Dance 走到最後自己散掉了。

Saxophone from Kjetil Møster, bass from Nikolai Eilertsen, drums from Kenneth Kapstad, guitar from Hans Magnus "Snah" Ryan, and between them enough other bands to fill a Norwegian festival poster. Four days at Duper Studio in Bergen, played live, five takes kept. "Desert Ride" opens at twelve seventeen and spends most of that length refusing to arrive anywhere; "Not a Signal but a Door" is two eleven and behaves like an accident nobody wanted to fix. The label frames the record as the yin to Springs, their Grammy-nominated one from two years back, which reads like a polite way of saying they stopped reaching outward. What survived the room is the record. Kjetil Møster 的薩克斯，加上 Nikolai Eilertsen 的貝斯、Kenneth Kapstad 的鼓、Hans Magnus "Snah" Ryan 的吉他。四個人分身在 Motorpsycho、Bigbang、Spidergawd、Elephant9，組在一起十三年。這張在卑爾根 Duper Studio 連錄四天，只留五首：〈Desert Ride〉十二分十七秒開場，〈Not a Signal but a Door〉兩分十一秒。官方說明把它擺成兩年前那張《Springs》的陰面，意思是這次不往外擴，往回收。

Six years since Roamin', most of them spent playing on other people's albums: Mulatu Astatke, Anoushka Shankar, Nitin Sawhney, Damon Albarn, Penguin Cafe. Six tracks here, running from "Running" to "Time To Go," and the only one that raises its voice is "Cathartic Chaos" in the middle, where the Ethio-jazz years finally show. Everything around it is quieter than a record about movement has any obligation to be. The metres keep sliding; the volume doesn't. 距首作《Roamin'》六年。這六年他多半在給別人當樂手：Mulatu Astatke、Anoushka Shankar、Nitin Sawhney、Damon Albarn、Penguin Cafe。六首曲名從〈Running〉排到〈Time To Go〉，中間夾一首〈Cathartic Chaos〉——全碟唯一提高音量的地方，也是唯一聽得出他從艾索爵士那邊帶回什麼的地方。其餘五首安靜得近乎剋制，拍號一直在偏移，但不吵。

Lise, of Maraudeur in Leipzig, and Ronni, of Marances in Baton Rouge, met through each other's band SoundCloud accounts and made this across an ocean. Eleven tracks with titles that read like somebody's notes app at 2am — "horse eating an apple," "surprisingly empty cart," "would we have a would-workshop?" The bass lines are not joking. The opener is dance-punk with woodblock in the drum pattern and the vocal set softly behind everything, dubbed out; tape loops carry more of the record than the guitars do. 萊比錫的 Lise（Maraudeur）和巴頓魯治的 Ronni（Marances），靠對方樂團的 SoundCloud 帳號私訊認識，隔著大西洋做完這張。十一首，曲名念起來比歌本身還好笑：〈horse eating an apple〉〈surprisingly empty cart〉〈would we have a would-workshop?〉。開場那首是不折不扣的 dance-punk，貝斯線硬，鼓點裡塞了木塊聲，人聲軟軟地丟在後面還過了 dub 處理。磁帶循環用得很兇。

Four tracks, numbered in Roman numerals, one turn of the year. Devin Blair played, recorded, arranged and mixed all of it alone; Andrew Weathers mastered. Track three keeps splitting its own title with slashes, as though it could not decide where to stop. Twenty-odd minutes. I want another listen before saying more. 四軌，標題用羅馬數字排成一輪四季。樂器、錄音、編曲、混音全是 Devin Blair 一個人做的，母帶交給 Andrew Weathers。第三軌的標題塞了三段用斜線隔開，像是沒決定好該停在哪一個。四首聽完二十來分鐘，不長。
